The Library Fashion Shooting - Part II

©2011 by Michael Schulze
Yesterday, or let´s say this morning, we finished the second library fashion shooting in Potsdam. A few months ago we test this location and now we got a it for a serious thing for designer Nora Fritz and her dresses and skirts. First st was on the crane at the ground, after a little bit of rain we decided to go to the upper levels and shoot some pics with a bubble machine. In we end we got a lot of fun and I have to thank my assistents for their condition and willing to go thru this shooting until 2:30 a.m. and helping us with heavy light equipment. Also our Models, which participate very spontaneously and bear with us thru all this dust and dirt of the construction site... Thank you all!!!

Bring back the 80ties... with a spiderweb

A few weeks ago I got an arrangement with a Rigger who annonced a shoting in Berlin with a Bondage-theme. I was interested and had some theatrical spider theme idea related to the aesthetics of floating humans, the idea of the surrender of male by the females... so it´s all come down to a very 80ties-look-and-feel und I thought in the end by doing all this stuff with lights and studio... why don´t you film it anyway and move the photographical project more to a videoclip... So here we are, doing Dollyshots with a fabulous high prof Rigger from Frankfurt/Main, experienced female model "Dee Solutio", brave male model "Garcia" and my "potsdam dreamfilmteam"...

Destroyer of romantic - Nippon no yuhi

Last thursday evening I spend this german holiday (Herrentag, Vatertag) with a long kept vision of mine on a hill near Berlin. Since nearly 3 years now I wanted to shot a sailormoon girl with a katana at sunsetlight. Don´t ask me why, but now with the help of the Model May-Li and the Skirt design of Nora Fritz , I was able to catch this vision in my camera.
The only thing that I didn´t aware of was that on this day, everybody got off and spend the day also on this hill. In the end we were surrounded by party people, some drunk, some just looking for quite romantic view over Berlin, and we trying to get some shots with sword and a G-36 rifle. It was a kind of bizarre to have this weapons next to a couple which looking for romantic peace and from the other side we heared some tecno-rap-hiphop-pop-music from a mobilephone of a group of party-teenies... well, no place for romantic in this world to shoot "Japan´s sunset"...
